    Yoga is a great way to wind down at the end of the day. This quality time with your kids will include an interactive bedtime story complete with yoga poses to get the wiggles out.     320808 - Let's Code It

    Learn to #code with Afterschool Enrichment Solutions! Both new and returning participants are welcome. Both courses will immerse students in the world of computer programming. Your child will have the opportunity to design games, explore animation, and combine music and art with coding. This class uses the blockbased programming system Scratch, which was developed by the MIT Media Lab to teach programming concepts. Topics covered
    include event handling, coordinates, conditional statements, user interface design, variables, logic statements, and synchronization. In addition to teaching programming skills, this course will also nurture students’ creativity and problem-solving skills. No previous experience is necessary, just a desire to learn and have gigabytes of fun!
    Note: In either of the sessions, returning participants will have the opportunity to work on new concepts and projects and earn a higher belt color. New participants will be introduced to more basic coding concepts and can work towards the more advanced concepts.

    This study group will help students prepare, review, and take practice tests that should help them get a higher score on the American College Testing (ACT) Assessment.     322004 - Babysitting Training

    Learn about the job of a babysitter in this course. From effective supervision of children and infants, to choosing safe, age-appropriate games and toys, to performing basic child-care skills such as diapering, feeding and dressing, you will gain the confidence necessary. Learn to prevent emergencies by identifying safety hazards and how to provide care for common injuries such as burns, cuts, and bee stings should they occur. Discuss how to find and interview for a babysititing job and how to communicate effecively with parents. Class fee includes a handbook, CD and Emergency Reference Guide.
    Students must attend both classes, participate in all lesson activities and complete a series of skills to receive a course certificate.
    Bring a pencil or pen, beverage, snack and folder to class. Participants must attend both class sessions. No mix and match between the sessions is permitted as this is a very poplular class that fills quickly.
    Participants MUST be a minimum of 11 years of age on or before the first class session they register in.

    322017 - Driver's Ed

    Teens, Learning to drive? AAA will provide an all inclusive Driver Education program for both Classroom and Behind the Wheel instruction. AAA knows driving. They’ve been involved in driver education since the 1930s and their program includes everything the state requires and more. The AAA Teen Driver Training program emphasizes interactive learning and feedback in a nontraditional curriculum. Behind the Wheel instruction is scheduled on an individual basis. Attendance at ALL classes is required to fulfill the state requirement for the driver’s education certification program.

    Registrants and a parent for session I are required to attend a Parent/Teen Orientation to be held on Saturday, January 20 at 10:00 a.m. in classroom 107 or MPR (check MPR first).
    Registrants and a parent for session II are required to attend a Parent/Teen Orientation to be held on Tuesday, March 20 at 6:00 p.m. in classroom 107 or MPR (check MPR first).
    ****Session I will meet February 21st from 6:00-8:00 p.m. followed by the Permit Test from 8:00- 9:00 p.m., and Session II will meet on April 25th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. immediately followed by the Permit Test from 8:00-9:00 p.m.
